Wake Up Lausanne proposes a “We Are Wildness” Wake Up retreat from the afternoon of the 31st July to the morning of the 7th August. We will spend a week in the majestic Swiss Alps, hiking every day (around 6 hours), sleeping under the stars, eating simple food, connecting with the wildness, around and within! |

From 5th to 12th August, Plum Village will be hosting another wonderful International Wake Up Retreat. How can we balance our deep wish to engage in actions to help the world with our own personal spiritual journey in the contexts of the current climate crisis and wars? How can we find meaning and purpose in our life? How can we find an alternative, healthier, sane, and compassionate lifestyle? |

The retreat takes place over one week from 15 - 21 August, 2016. The first 3 days are free for personal practice. This time is open for you to meet other participants and allows for time to meditate and profit from the forest and the walking and hiking paths in the area.The following 4 days will be organized around guided meditations, Dharma talks, discussion and sharing groups and times for practicing mindfulness in our daily lives. Other activities include a workshop on Vietnamese vegetarian cooking, bonfires, dancing, Qi Gong practice and much more... Venez découvrir et approfondir la méditation de Pleine Conscience dans la tradition zen du Village des Pruniers du maître Thich Nhat Hanh. La retraite durera une semaine. Les trois premières journées seront laissées libres pour votre pratique personnelle. Vous pourrez rencontrer les autres participants, méditer, profiter de la forêt et des sentiers de randonnées. Les quatre derniers jours seront organisées autour de méditations guidées, d’enseignements du Dharma, de périodes de partage et de pratique de Pleine Conscience au quotidien... |

In this retreat we will be asking ourselves: How can we cultivate joy & happiness in ourselves and in this world and not be overwhelmed by suffering? Wim and Ida invite us at their beautiful rural meditation farm, the Maanhoeve. The program will be facilitated by them together with a group of enthusiastic Wake Up friends. As well as the usual program of sitting meditation, Dharma talks and mindful eating and so on, we’ll have plenty of time to relax and restore ourselves by being close to nature – on walking meditations, working on farm, and spending time together around bonfires. There will be music and laughter, as well as time to listen deeply and share from our hearts. |
