As December unfolds and the holiday season approaches in many parts of the world, we are reminded of the precious opportunity this time offers to connect and reconnect across generations—within families and within our Sangha family.
In this spirit, we would like to warmly invite everyone to nurture the seeds of togetherness within and across Sanghas this month. More specifically, we encourage nourishing connections between Wake Up Sanghas and all-ages Sanghas.
- Wake Up Sangha members: We warmly encourage you to visit your local all-ages Sanghas. If possible, organize a group visit to share your presence and energy. You might also invite members of all-ages Sanghas to join one of your gatherings, involve elders as co-facilitators, or co-create an activity together, e.g. a festive be-in or tea sharing.
- All-ages Sanghas: We would like to humbly ask you to consider reaching out to your local Wake Up Sanghas to extend an invitation. If you like, you could explore opportunities for their members to participate in one of your gatherings, or collaborate on a festive holiday event. Similar connections could also be fostered with other local affinity Sanghas.
Let’s make this month a time of joyful gathering and bonding with our extended Sangha family.
And if December feels too busy to organize a gathering, you could consider planting the seeds now for a meaningful event in January.
Wishing you warmth, peace, siblinghood, and deep connection during this holiday season.
With love and trust,
Wake Up International Coordinator Team
