Seeds of Interbeing: Exploring the 14 Mindfulness Trainings
June 13 - June 20
This retreat week is for experienced young practitioners (up to 45 years old) who have been practicing with a Plum Village Sangha for some time and feel called to deepen their path of mindfulness and Sangha building. Whether you’re simply curious about the Order of Interbeing or already on the journey to becoming an aspirant, this is a precious opportunity to explore together what it means to walk the path of engaged Buddhism.
Throughout the week, we will enjoy Dharma talks, panel sharings, and Dharma sharing circles. We’ll also join the Upper Hamlet Sangha for sitting and walking meditation, mindful meals, and other elements of the daily practice schedule. Together, we will take time to study, reflect on, and be nourished by the 14 Mindfulness Trainings as seeds of transformation—both personal and collective. This is a space to connect, ask questions, and grow in community as we water our aspiration to build a more compassionate and peaceful world.
The retreat will be offered in English and facilitated by monastic brothers and sisters as well as members of the Order of Interbeing. It will also include panel sharings and Q&A sessions with experienced lay Dharma teachers, joining us via Zoom.
We hope to see you in person in June in Plum Village or online for some teaching and sharing sessions.
