International Wake Up Retreat Living in the Moment!

“When you go home to the present moment, you touch the wonders of life that are inside you and around you. Just enjoy this moment, you don’t have to wait for tomorrow to have peace and joy. When you feel you have arrived in the here and the now, you will be very happy. You must tell your friend,

“Dear friend! I have really arrived! This is a good news”

    Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh

Every year at Thai Plum Village, we organize an International Wake Up Retreat for young people. It is a great chance for young people to come to Thai Plum Village to generate peace, happiness, and joyful moment together.

We would like to invite you to enjoy the kingdom of present moment that we; brothers, sisters, the Wake Uppers (the young volunteers) at Thai Plum Village, and including you generate together. We just need to come home to our conscious breathe, each steps we take, and singing mindfully to make our smiles become real. See the whole cosmos in the plate of food, or sharing from the heart, so that our happiness and suffering could be called by their true names.

Happiness and peace are available for us right in the here and the now. There are ways for us to really enjoy life, rather than rushing our lives just as a machine without stopping. We knew that the wonders of life are always there and that we can touch them every time, right now.

We welcome all the young people from 18 to 35 ages to join us in this 5 days lively retreat!
