Wake Up Omaha Retreat: Cultivating Sangha Mind
January 27, 2017 @ January 27, 2017 - January 29, 2017 @ January 29, 2017
Offered by Dharma Teacher Terry Cortés-Vega and Wake Up for all ages
Public Talk and Day of Mindfulness in Omaha, Nebraska, and a Workshop in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This January, the Honey Locust Sangha is offering mindfulness events led by Dharma Teacher Terry Cortes Vega and Wake Up friends. These events will be an opportunity to rest and restore yourself through the art of mindful living. Our practice of gathering together comes from a custom in Buddha’s time for practitioners to meet regularly for one day in order to discuss the teachings, share about their practice, and live as a spiritual family all day long. In doing so we actively flow as a river to develop understanding, love, and cutting through afflictions to realize collective awakening.
Even if you never practiced mindfulness before or consider yourself a pro, come help Wake up Omaha! You won’t want to miss it.
